At the end of the XIX century Alphone du plessis de Sailly has built this castle as a wedding present for his wife. The castle has been acquired in 1983 by the Kurban family and has now fully be restored by Adeline Kurban.  Adeline Kurban, with her great sense of hospitality, will receive you as friend of the family and offers you the very best of the region.

The castle is located among a 18ha playground, and an orchard of more than 300 fruit trees. In a luxury and green environment you will enjoy your stay in Normandy in the chateau d'Avesnes.

 

The Pays de Bray is characterized by orchards and rich pastures. Then appear loose limestone pedestals from Pays de Caux and the Norman Vexin that overlook the sea and the Seine. The Epte, formerly frontier and defended by many fortresses, the Bresle bordered by forests and Lyons Eu, Bethune and a dozen other rivers have drawn in this chalky mass furrows green fees.
